Ed called bullshit on me this morning. I used the word "snarky", and he said that it didn't exist. Now, to maintain my integrity, I've posted the dictionary.com definition here, as well as the Urban Dictionary definition.

I would point out that many words make it into the dictionary merely through popular use -- correct, or not. Case in point, Google: http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=google
That's an excellent point. However, the definition of snarky has something the definition of Google doesn't: evidence of root words & usage in older languages--in this case, Dutch and German.
